Workshops can be bespoke based upon your company and it's individuals. Emily creates engaging, fun, and easy to understand embodied experiences and can facilitate regular connection 'check ins' online for your remote team of people to connect with themselves and each other through a range of nurturing practices such as breath, meditation and movements that support their wellbeing. Designed to empower individuals to explore for themselves the ways in which they can reduce instances of pain, unwanted stress, anxiety and find more joy in life through small simple acts of self-care.
It’s statistically proven that we’re all too sedentary within the typical office environment. Since March 2020 and Office workers were instructed to work from home due to the Pandemic, it has been estimated that due to the lack of commute the workforce is now sitting for around 3 hours longer each day!
Reduce feelings of anxiety the natural way by discovering these movement practices that can be easily incorporated into your day at work. This half-day workshop gets you out of your head and into your body for a simple boost of feel good wellness for mind and body.
The experience starts at the feet and works its way up through the body. It also focuses on toning our vagus nerve - central to finding and restoring balance for optimal functioning. The guided movements, vocal sounds and breath practice is gentle enough to be inclusive for all people, including people with neuro diversities and disabilities. The workshop will educate, energise and engage your whole team, assist with focus and executive function and provide an opportunity for open dialogue around reasonable accommodations for physical and psycological safety to support your team.
These workshops support not for profit community organisation Movement Foundations School Program which offers experiences in local Schools including SEND settings and to families who are struggling with emotional and anxiety related issues at home. A percentage of you workshop fee is donated.

With many people spending longer hours working at their desks, there is so much value in knowing ways to incorporate simple self-care techniques to negate the damaging effects of office life.
Movement Foundations has designed trainings which can be delivered over 1 or 2 hours at your place of work, at a convenient time for you, and virtually if need be. These are practical trainings which will influence and inspire your company to improve its environment and culture. This in turn aims to empower individuals to take responsibility for their own wellbeing.
The workshop includes techniques for posture improvement and resets, self-release techniques, breathing exercises, and tips on how to create a work environment (in the office or at home) which supports healthy minds and bodies. We faciliate for your team a dedicated opportunity to focus on their wellbeing.
